Welcome to the Class Blog!

Hello Students,
Welcome to our First Year Seminar class blog! This will be the location that we post photographs, discuss course topics, and share related materials with each other. You should plan to read and contribute to this blog on a weekly basis. I look forward to working with all of you!

  1. Hello everyone! My name is Danielle Wilson, I am 18 years old and obviously a freshman here at Arcadia. Right now I am undecided, waiting to be accepted into the art program, after which I will be an interior design major.
The reason that I chose to take this seminar is because I have a passion for photography. I love to be behind a camera, not so much in front of it. I pretty much like to take pictures of anything and everything. I actually work in a portrait studio as a photographer.
So I am looking forward to this seminar and learning some new things about photography. I am also looking forward to my future here at Arcadia.

  2. Hello! My name is Stephanie Anastasi, I am also 18 years old, soon to be 19 in November. I am an undeclared major with SO many interests. No matter what I major in I will minor in photography. Taking photos is a huge passion of mine. Throughout high school I was in every photo class using film and the dark room. I live locally so I commute to and from Arcadia because of this I still work and I love my job. I am really looking forward to this seminar and all it has to offer!

  3. Hey everyone, I'm Kaityln Paton. I'm a freshman. I live in Heinz and I am 18. I am from Syracuse, NY but I grew up in Stafford VA. My major is Art with a concentration in Art Therapy. I have a passion for all types of art, traveling, music, and reading. In my junior year of high school I studied abroad in France for 6 months. It was the most rewarding time in my life. While I was in France I used my photography as a way to document my time spent there. I also enjoy hanging with my friends, going to the movies, and shopping. At Arcadia I hope to develop a family of friends while taking in all the academic possibilities.
