Blog 3


I chose to take photos of the small plant I have in my room. I took this photo at this particular angle because i thought it was interesting was sort of a good way to introduce my subject.

This is a close up on my subject and it really shows the details on the leaf. I took it to show the little details on the plant that you wouldn't necessarily see if you looked at it from afar. I also like the focus and blurred background.

I took this photo because my roommates had their arcadia cups on my desk and I thought since they were all uniform, that by placing my plant in the middle, it would draw your eye to the plant rather than the blue cups.

This photo shows a different lighting setting that I used. I placed my plant on my desk and used my desk lamp to shine light in a certain direction. I didn't use the flash so that you could better see where the light source was coming from.

And lastly, this image is to show overexposure. I took this by turning my desk lamp on and opening the window. I also used my flash setting and came out with this result.
