You hear in the news that our troops should be pulled out and come back home. People even argue that they are disrespecting the civillians over there, and that they are giving Americans a bad name. But this picture proves that theory wrong. I think the reason this picture was taken to show that our troops are doing the best that they can with whatthey have, and that even though it may be hard for them over there, they still have enough respect for anyone they see, even if they are citizens of an enemy.

Someone sent me these pictures in an email, subject: Albino Peacock. That headline just makes you curious, so when I opened it, I didnt know what to expect. But when I opened it, it was of this beautiful bird! Peacocks in gerneral are so fun to look at, but this one kind of amazed me. I think these pictures were taken to remember such a wonderful sight. No matter how hard you try to explain what it looks like, only the actual picture of it can show its beauty.
I chose this picture because it's of my home state -- New York. When i first saw it, I thought it was a picture of fires that had spread throughtout, and I thought that it was such a cool image to look at. But when i read about the photo, I learned that it is not of fires, but of the "city that never sleeps." The yellow are the city lights that never go out. And I thought that that is even cooler than the fires.
